Lynne LaForge is a 1980 graduate of the Houghton College School of Music in Houghton, New York, having earned a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education and Voice. She has been living in the Chicago area since 1980 with her husband, Wayne, and moved to Warrenville in 1988. Together they have raised four wonderful sons. She has performed as a soloist in the area since 1980.
Lynne is actively involved as a board member for both the West Suburban and Naperville Chapters of the Illinois State Music Teacher's Association. Additionally, She is a member of the Music Teachers National Association and the National Association of Teacher's of Singing. A member of the Wheaton Evangelical Free Church, Lynne performs regularly as a soloist as well as in the choir, orchestra and praise team. Lynne is also a member of the Madrigal Singing Group, The Elizabethans in Wheaton.
As a teacher, it is her goal to teach students the necessary skills to express themselves creatively through music. She believes that parental involvement is key to the success of each student. She will do her best to provide a learning environment that is conducive to your student's growth and development. Parents are always welcome to sit in on lessons at any time.
Lynne's Music Studio is located on Haylett Avenue in Warrenville, Just one block east of Winfield Road and two blocks north of Warrenville Road in Warrenville.
